luggsey Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 I hate them. That is all. If the wall is really uneven I set in stud to the wall using epoxy resin then make a plate the same size as the camera, add a nut and washer to the stud to hold the plate off the uneven wall. Works for me, but I hate stone walls as well! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life is like a box of chocolates, some bugger always gets the nice ones! Driller Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 Heh, heh, all that and at 5 meters up in the air... The walls are made out of yellowstone and is a mixture of very hard and very soft bits of stone some like flint. Line your camera up and mark holes. Drill one, not bad. Drill next- nope you can't, it's a piece of flint and your drill now looks like the end of a leek. OK we'll forget that one, next- drill sinks right in because your in an old joint-aaaaagggghhhhhh! Last one- you're on a ridge so drill skids around and goes in one drill diameter to the right.
