DirectFS Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I know here they all r. I just didnt undrestand why u need a credit account! I know now lol Mostly, businesses use credit accounts for one simple reason - cash flow. The idea of a credit account is to secure the materials you need for a job, without having to pay for them before your customer pays you. In this way it doesn't cost your business to hold on to stock - the supplier pays for that function instead. So long as you have the discipline to pay your supplier bills on time, and assuming your customer pays you on time, then you don't incur charges, and indeed, have the chance of earning some interest (yup, likely these days - not), or at least not paying additional charges on an overdraft, or loan. That's why credit accounts are generally a good idea in the business world - at least, so long as you're the one using them, rather than offering them. Bill.
