dewaltdave Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Should be a straight swap of the pcb Should be ... ? B) As long as the G60 works the same way i.e - resistance values etc and I can program it in the same way that I can program my 500 then I can copy the panel as is ?
james.wilson Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 obviosuly the 500 has no onboard zones and we dont know how many rios you currently have. aismoresecur Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 If its in your house then your setup wont be that big......why do you have a 500, even a 60 is a bit big for a house??
Guest old-hand Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Just buy a newer Gal, more fun to be had........................
dewaltdave Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Im using two keypads, one internal rio and one external rio. As long as I can transfer these to the G60 Im happy. I got the 500 for a very good price!

ian.cant Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Id rather have the 60 than the 500 in my house, bigger isnt always better. Having said that im happy with my Big Dog.
y-i-out-of-bed Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 sounds like a lot of work to just keep bigger alarm system i would keep the most up to date unit on firmware alone, but each to there own if it's what you like take it with you. mainboard should swap over easy off top of my head and 60 should do what you need it to. good luck any ways
