Rulland Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Backwrap them around the sheathing-if done neatly it's easy to get any spare core off without any hassle.
antinode Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Tape them up and leave about 8" long. Not a bad effort Trade Member

antinode Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Those smart PSU's will charge 2 x 17ah if you needed them. They weigh a ton aswell. Not bad panels IMO. Trade Member
Chorlton Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 look whistle antinode managed to date the batteries too marker pen OK for that though? I've been using dyno tape since being told otherwise on here by someone.
james.wilson Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 marker pen is fine AFAIK. You have to date the batteries when they come into stock and when fitted (for rotation etc) but that may be a nacoss req and not needed for ssaib securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Chorlton Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 no worries I remember a topic about this from year ago or so and someone produced details from Yuasa or powersonic etc saying marker pen was not OK but don't have 1st hand knowledge, hence question. I bought 2 dyno machines and it looks better and comes in handy for labelling devices and other stuff too Don't date when come into stock though just rotate and (since very recently) recharge after 3 months if still on the shelf.
