we use the solwise one. I like the dualcom one, but we fit a filtered socket adjacent to the panel for test phone use.

I use lead to plug into com2400 for butt, I prefer no sockets on alarm line

I made up a set of croc clips on the end of my butt phone, would clamp it on if no sockets there.

Mr H. tried them but they ae fragile. for the last couple of years EVERY instal gets one of these Solwise

Jeff - do fit inside panel purely for the filtering or adjacent as a test phone point?

we do same except where think phone point might get used by customer in which case blank cover filter (mini lead socket in panel for test).

Fit one adjacent to every panel. Used to cut up leads and all sorts of stuff years ago. Problem was going out to panels that had ADSL installed on line causing agro. Yes we got paid but eventualy gave in and made this standard kit. Yesterday i went to job where BT REMOVED our unit and fitted Master. i reinstalled ours next to Master. A couple of weeks back i went to a job where BT Installed master next to our filter but refused to conect the blue pair our engineer left hanging. BT are Basteds.
