Thanks its a while since i worked on scannies but basically you connect the trig c to either the intruder o/p wire (which i preusme is what's meant by comm 3 as most digis etc use channel 3 as intruder) - this will either be on a flying lead or plug that come seperate or a connection on pcb labelled as digi outputs or you connect it to same connection as bell which is normally neg in alarm. Latter abviously means that when you do a bell test it will activate SD+ so is not the preferred option. paul THE BLACK KNIGHT "Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company."
equinox Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 ah i see. what does it mean by trigger type 5v rem. ? Is this something i have to set up on the SD1+ or the intruder? Also do i have to set up the panel to send an output to the sd1 or will it do it automatically? Thanks
james.wilson Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 it means 5v removed ie 0v to trigger. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

equinox Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 oh ok. only in the manual on the other trigger types it says 0v app and 12 app to other panels, and shows this one up as 5v rem. seemed odd thanks for the help fellas
