greg2230 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Good Morning all Members. I have the standard Optima Compact ADE intruder alarm fitted and I think the battery needs replacing. A Friend has told me that if I remove the front cover to do this the alarm will be activated. Can someone please tell me how to fit the battery without the alarm sounding? Probably a simple job and I cannot find the manual that was supplied by the engineer who fitted the system originally, a self employed person who has moved house and I can't fid him now. Any help would be more than appreciated, so thanks in anticipation of reply's. greg2230
FASTCAR Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 As long as the alarm is unset , then only the internal alarm will sound, this is then cancelled with your user code.Be careful the battery doesn't fall out and take care around hazardous voltages.
