Whatever happened to the art of conversation?

It got destroyed when we went to school eg I was told on a daily, nay hourly, nay

regularly, to shut up, sit up, be quiet and not to talk in class.

Did anybody go to a school where they were taught to converse correctly?

How many people today actually think of what they are going to say before they say

it and do they also concider the grammatical construction and idiums and avoid cliches ? (I think that is French and should have an accent over the e)

Also you can converse with your followers on twitter globaly and simultaneously or all at once if you prefer!

best wishes

Vince

Practice in the morning, practice at night. Practice in the evening, until you get it right.

Only make sure you are practising in the right way at the right time for it.

twiiter - waste of time, its something i wrote years before it came out for a specific job, and even then I though it was stupid.

Its blog comments on their own, without the blog.

Its a example of marketing working.

Twitter users warned of new phishing scam

Security experts are warning Twitter users of a new phishing scam that could lead to their accounts being compromised.

The typo-squatting site, which was discovered by Rik Ferguson, senior security advisor at Trend Micro, has been set up by phishers to look like Twitter, although the URL uses only two 't's and replaces the 'w' with 'vv' (h**p://www.tvviter.com) to make it appear authentic.

"Please don't visit this site," wrote Ferguson on Trend Micro's official blog. "It has been designed to harvest credentials, and is currently directing users (through intermediate fake personal web sites and using URL shortening services) to sites hosting euphemistically titled 'Adult Dating Services' by automatically adding followers to the compromised accounts."

Those who are conned into handing over their account details will find new account followers who post links in their profiles redirecting users to adult dating sites.

"These sites make the scammers money in the process through a pay-per-click affiliate scheme," said Ferguson. "The URLs concerned are under ongoing analysis for malicious content. Please do not feel tempted to visit them, even out of curiosity."

Hackers are increasingly turning to Twitter to harvest user credentials. Earlier this month users were warned not to play a 'porn name game' which would publicise details potentially used in account passwords, such as the name of users' first pets.

D`ont bother with it or face book.

MSN or phone calls.

As for friends united if I wanted to keep in touch with certain old school friends I would have. Sod having one pop up out of the blue and wanting to know what has been happening since we left school!
