Morley Addresable Panel Fault

Recommended Posts

I have a job where the morley fire panel keeps coming in fault and displaying s/w checksum fail.

What does this mean??

Could be a number of things, most likely corrupt firmware.

Have you tried a full cold restart of the panel? And have a config back up ready to put on once you have.

Bill.

enter commission mode, then config, it will prompt you to unlock the memory, at this point unlock the memory and then enter configure.

exit the configure menu, then press 3 for normal operation, again the panel will prompt you to lock the memory, lock the memory then press 3 again to return to normal operation.

This might clear it!
