Guest Oxo Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 No wonder he needs to know the G2/3 book backwards!!!
hpotter Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 especially not new builds with foil backed gyproc walls, they just play havoc with the radio signals. agreed, with certain types ie aerial in panel, homelink75 is a pain cos of same. although, i must say, i bet it's something to do with the positioning of the portal on the G2...most domonials ive seen, the panels are in electrical cupboards, next to the mains, whereas, when i change them out to a G2, i fit the RF portal just above head height, and usually a few feet away from any seeable interference yep agree again. & homelink 55 overcomes the issue cos rfx (portal to gal bods?) sited in a better position. wouls add though, I-on has aerial in panel not had issues, but then seperate keypad so panel itself goes to better postion.
