Guys

1st of all im new to the board so i would say welcome. Came across it whilst I was trying to sort out my burglar alarm. So if anyone can help I would really apreciate it.

Ive just moevd into a house and for some reason the keycode box has been taken down, ive found the box and its a concept 6 system. Hanging out of the wall I have 4 wires red, blue, yellow and black. On the box I have 4 inputs k1 k2 k3 and k4. Does anyone know what colour wires corresponds where ? Further to that does anyone know how i will be able to reset the pin on this box as I obviously I dont know it

Thanks for any help anyoen can provide and take it easy

Hi ,welcome to the forum. You will need to find the main control box , it is usually hidden away in a cupboard or under the stairs (occasionally the loft) this contains the battery and all wiring to the detection devices ,sounders and mains. The concept 6 is fairly old , and there may be a good reason why the keypad is removed.Find and list all your hardware , then post back.

Alternatively get out the yellow pages and get a pro. :D

hi ,

Ive found the main box , under the stairs and had a look inside the box but im not sure what other detail is required. I think they just disconnected the box becasue one of the sensors was faulty. If i can find out which of the four wires goes into eahc of the 4 slots in my pin access panel I will be on the way to finding out if there is actually a fault.

thanks
