Can anyone help me?????????

I have a Honeywell Galaxy G2 -12 intruder alarm, I now wish to deactivate the line check feature from home as it has been deactivated by ADT head office, this is so that i can stop incuring charges on my phone bill.

Does anyone know how i can deactivate the line check feature, ADT head office are quoting a hefty price to get an engineer out and i want to try myself before having to incure such coasts.

Very much appreciate any advise.

You will need the "engineers" code to do this.

They did say that any electrical engineer will be able to do this, is this correct,

Also does this mean i will have to get back to ADT and pay out for them to send an angineer?

If you dont have the engineer code, then it cant be done

Thank you for your advise, i guess i will have to get THEIR engineer out then, (

Sorry most sparkies would not touch the panel let alone know what to do with it.

No disrespect lads.

Another alternative is to find a local company who could default the codes, perhaps they would be cheaper than Aunty.
