bernis Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 Hi All i am trying to setup one of these on my home PC, AMD 64 bit but i cannot get the pc to recognise the baxall. i have connected the network port directly to the 100/10 on my pc. light is on on the front of the machine. and tried the viewer with ip 192.168.0.15. should the DHCP be set to yes? viwer connections is set to yes. should i be doing anything else?. just will not connect. tried pinging from dos prompt, still nothing anyone know what i am doing wrong? tried rebooting all. thankyou for any help regards berni Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/28795-baxall-vivid-network-connect-problem/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
nitro Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 Make sure you are connecting it with a crossover cable not patch cable(they are both Cat5 type cable). james.wilson Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 if your connecting direct to your pc, and are using dhcp, you will need a dhcp on your pc.
