tonsai Posted May 27, 2009 Author Posted May 27, 2009 Have you actually thought through the implications of all this?I ask because reading your several threads, it seems you haven't a clue. As a comparison, you say you work full time in I.T., so. Who installs, sets up and runs your servers and network - my guess is it ain't some amateur you found on a forum who said he knows what he's doing. Cubit, you're right, I don't have a clue but thought I'd ask around for some advice to see if it was feasible. This forum looked like a good place to start and ask few questions. Anyone can screw a few cheap cameras to a wall and plug them into a DVR but as redbull said, for this project, you need a pro, which isn't me.
Guest RJBsec Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Sounds like two things have happened here:- 1. You've wisely decided that the installation is not something that you have the experience and expertise to undertake.2. The Caretaker has realised that he doesn't have the authority to get the installation done and he's got himself a 'get-out'.
