I can see the point if you have a bottom end dvr that has an external 12v psu... but if you do have a problem with it and you want to return it.... and you have cut off the psu... you might have a problem or 2. Driller Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 Which is why I asked if it was a 12V machine with an in line soap on a rope type PSU.Which usually all have the same type plug that is available anywhere for a few pence. I wouldnt dream of suggesting that anyone without the neccesssary skils open up the machine. Ah sorry Subs I spectacularly missed the bit where you asked if it was a 12V unit, I thought you were talking about the cameras. My DVR has an internal PSU with an IEC 13 plug going into the back of the unit.
