Hehe, all fair comments above.

Why did I not post this myself....?

A slightly over fervent marketing agent got it in before I could stop him. Conversation went something like this:

Me: Do you think there would be any merit in us opening this up on a trade forum like [this one]

e-mail reply: Yeah that's a good idea, I will put one in their guest area.

Me by e-mail: No don't do that, let me do it..

reply: too late

Me: Sigh.....

And to cap it off, he put up a broken link....nice one! Seems to work now though.

Either way, the product as you rightly point out does not stop anyone breaking in (unless the signage has the deterrent effect - who can say one way or the other), it defends property once activated by a correctly configured IHaS.

Anyhow, gonna limp away embarrassed now, and make sure I curb my slightly over enthusiastic marketing agency (my idea would have been to offer it to the tradys, as its rather in your face in the public forums - don't know if any mods want to move or delete it?)

Anyways, take it easy may catch up soon, still lurk here from time to time (evidently).

LOL, welcome back. Even if for a while.

You can see from the "banter" we half guessed what was going on.

Get your marketing Guru to read thru, it might give him some ideas.

TC and have fun!

Now I trust the link.

Good one.

Sad sounders last one I did had 3 master blasters and your good smoke screen.

Client insisted on personally breaking in...............needless to say I still chuckle at his attempt!

Thats almost as good as Drew (paxton) having to break into their own premises...

I also learnt how important reliability is, for any security system. An early episode where I had to take a hammer to the front door glass to let us in to work was a useful, if embarrassing lesson.

ok, was years ago....

(sorry drew, but lol)
