james.wilson Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 At the request of several Installers and ARCs and as a result of higher than expected GPRS network-to-network transfer activity, the single payment tariff plan for the WorldSIM® currently in circulation has been withdrawn with immediate effect. A new tariff plan of an annual recurring charge WorldSIM® has replaced the above and will be available effective from the 1st of July 2010. To clarify, please see the table below for a summary of the SIMs currently on offer from CSL DualCom: Type of SIM Part No. Description Vodafone SIM N/A Provided as standard - included in the connection fee and supplied across the entire DualCom GradeShift® range G2, G3,G4 and Fire Alternative Network SIM (Orange) CS2390 A stand-alone accessory – available to purchase for a one-off connection fee for use on the DualCom GradeShift® G2 and G3. An installer will have already purchased a standard DualCom with a Vodafone SIM. The Alternative Network SIM uses the Orange network and will be purchased as an extra in the event that a reliable Vodafone signal cannot be found. WorldSIM ® CS2392 DISCONTINUED AS OF 25th JUNE 2010 WorldSIM ® CS2393 A recurring charge WorldSIM® – available to purchase from your ARC for an annual fee. For use on DualCom G2 and G3 only. This is a WorldSIM® with Vodafone being the preferred network. This SIM will always look for Vodafone as its preferred network and will lock to other networks when there is limited or no Vodafone signal available. This SIM can only be used on products sent out from the 7th of June 2010. <P style="LINE-HEIGHT: 20px; FONT-FAMILY: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> WorldSIM® will be available for DualCom G4 and Fire very soon. The G4 is our flagship product (polling at 1 minute intervals) and it is our intention to monitor the G2/G3 products for a period of time to ensure there are no issues. WorldSIM® (CS2393) will only be available from ARCs WorldSIM® (CS2393) will not work on any DualCom installations despatched before 7/6/10. For sites with radio signal issues the Alternative Network (Orange) SIM (part No CS2390) should be used. WorldSIM® (CS2393) will require a chip/account number when ordering. The chip number should refer to the existing chip number associated with the site the WorldSIM® has been ordered for. The initial charge is for a 12 month period and on the anniversary date the annual charge will be applied to the chip number the WorldSIM® has been assigned to.
