Toni42 Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 keypad zones zone 1 on keypad mapped out as zone 42---> entry exit entry exit zone shows as healthy in wintex dp end of ln meaning zone is mapped and configured correctly!! yet when user details are inserted into the keypad to start entry exit no tones start the keypad just logs into the engineers access? any ideas I know generally that control panel zones like to start with zone 1 as entry exit but why give the option to mapp through the keypad which is near the final exit route if this does not appear to work? Toni

Guest Oxo Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 What panel requires Zone 1 to be entry? Your programming seems to be at fault.
Adi Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 well ive had a bottle of the red stuff, but if ive read your post right - looks to me you are entering eng code. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
Guest Oxo Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Played with a prem recently. Looks good still prefer Gal or Cooper though.

breff Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 You have zone 2 of the keypad mapped to zone 42 Post a screen grab of the users, you may have assigned the user code the 'engineer programming' attribute The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
Toni42 Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 user access code engineer master Rob Paul Tony if you key in an existing code (version 8 software) you will be prompted to change because that user code is already in use
