Cathexsis Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Look in system q, I saw a fully working halogen flood with a Covert built in using a San disc memory card, have never used though so don't know if there any good!!
Oxford Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Quite a few on ebay as well. With a pin hole camera you generally can't zoom in so watch how high you fit it, you might end up not being able to see any detail. Just need to think outside the box.
Guest Oxo Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 If its outside the box it won`t be covert then will it!
Oxford Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Hmmm like your thinking. It could be in a pipe or a porch or a BOX!!
reidy Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 We took over a system with 4 "covert" cameras in bell boxes - 2 in each box (one looking left one right). What they did was get a black Texecom Odyssey 1E, drill a 20mm in either side, get 2 bullet cameras and stick them in place with some sort of super strength bonding agent lol Hey Ho, Lets Go
Specialist Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Hi: Have you looked at www.digi-flex.co.uk ? they do covert cameras & have 1 ready built into a PIR illuminator, that looks quite good. Andy Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us.
hpotter Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 have found covert to be a PITA. how about the one where we drilled hole in customers new shed, lined up cam, spot on. neighbour complained about rain dripping over fence from shed roof. shed got moved couple of inches, so drilled another hole lined up cam. neighbour complained, moved shed, drilled hole, lined up cam, neighbour complained, moved shed drilled hole, lined up cam... drilled slot in shed, neighbour complained... met eng in cafe from other firm laughing socks off, had done covert for neighbour weeks before, got us on tape.. all over accusations of stealing cuttings from plants. have done birdboxes only to find some bbrain wanted to use it for nesting.
Specialist Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Put Covert cams in a Post Office a couple of years back, all hunky dory for a fortnight then he's on the phone that all cameras had gone blank, go to site wondering what's gone on only to find he's had a brand new Suspended B****y ceiling fitted & all cameras were now above it in darkness. Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us.
hpotter Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Another problem with doing covert esp in shops/offices/warehouses etc is having an excuse to be there doing work. where poss on evenings & weekends, otherwise its alternative jobs.. decorated an office as a ruse for one customer, they had proper decorators in (& new carpet) once culprit caught lol.
