alterEGO
Sounds like a good idea on the face of it.
digitalwitness
Maybe a good idea for tech support not located within the UK... For an IP extension though, I presume a static IP address would be required?

MrHappy
quite an interesting idea for a start up or the move form single line I assume the easier way to "sell" this product with be a demo vid ? Mr Veritas God
james.wilson
Yeah thats a good idea. But as it will be all preconfigured it may be hard to show the relevant info. Im thinking of setting up a demo account, then any sip client could be used. I could setup a DDI and an example IVR and allow everything except external calls. In fact ill do that later tonight. If i do a mini howto, then anyone could setup a little internal phone system in 10 mins. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. MrHappy
Yeah thats a good idea. But as it will be all preconfigured it may be hard to show the relevant info. just thinking of all the trixbox type videos I've seen...... BTW I spoke to gradwell a while back & it would appear I could port my line no. to being a voip no. its tempting but like the idea of when it all goes tits up you could plug a handset into the wall... james.wilson
Yeah What we have done previously is divert to another number when the ip is down. ie a conventional phone that the bb is on, or a mobile. We could do that as part of the base package, but we have also done systems with 3g backup links so if the adsl goes down it works on 3g. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
