arfur mo Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I have never used a radio system before and wish to install one in a friends house. im worried about false alarms and im not confident in chosing a panel. which radio panel will I use thanks for your help! how big is the house and what is the budget? Risco offer a hybrid option, i.e. wired panel which can have a receiver added, they offer the Wisdom which is radio but wired siren, and they also offer the Agility which is totally wireless with exception of the mains lead and phone connection. the above are imo are really for skilled engineers or experienced diy user, mainly due to programming. powermax gets good remarks and i think easier for the novice, never used it so can't compare Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Guest Oxo Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Visonic Powermax ( think they have changed it slightly but still plenty of Powermax on the shelves still) is a good solid panel. Many companies use them. Built in dialler can be expanded to include many different devices. 28 wireless zones 2 hard wired if needed. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1660
