peace121 Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Hi Guys im new on this forum And this is my 1st post, So Hello to All Right, ive been in the CCTV business for around 3 years, and I get all my products from Videcon, cop security, and Adata. what i would like to know is Which are the Best Companys to buy from ? Does anyone have any recommendations, or are the ones I listed ok ? Please if someone could shed some light on this. Thank you for any Help in Advance
alterEGO Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Videcon are fine, COP are 50/50, never have and don't think i ever will use Adata/LJD/whatever they are called next year.
arfur mo Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 No Used Videcon, occasionally COP with no issues, Adata who used to be/are LJD make imo one of the best lower cost DVRs in their Leviathan, but the few returns process i had was a painful process tbh so stopped using them. System Q imo are extremely good, their tech backup (as long as you have to serial numbers - which are unhelpfully on the BACK of DVRs ) are always extremely knowledgeable imho. Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Cubit Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 System Q imo are extremely good, their tech backup (as long as you have to serial numbers - which are unhelpfully on the BACK of DVRs ) are always extremely knowledgeable imho. DVR's are ok...can't say the same about cameras.
peace121 Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 Hi guys thank u for all ur replys. I've been Reading on line and quite alotof complaints about LJD / adata , strange I've not really ever had any problems with them lol. I've just had a look at system Q thanks for the link. Is there any other recommendations ?
Alarm Protection Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Have a look at Dynamic CCTV range of kit. Excellent for the low/middle market and High end Adpro/Vista and Samsung domes. !
peace121 Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 Thank you for that by the way maybe I can ask a question on alarms too here instead ofstarting another tread. I wanted to start installing alarms to does any one have any recomendations
james.wilson Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 would probably be a good idea to get a few more posts (well 2) under your belt and applying for trade access. Assuming you would pass vetting etc. James securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
whistle Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Norbain for almost all our kit now. Had enough of cheap kit letting me down when we need it most.... Just after a breakin or robbery only to be told we need a firmware upgrade and it SHOULD be ok.
