sapper Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Hi all Have installed one of these today but cant ring out. I think it might be because customer has a featureline. I didnt sell system only asked to install so didnt know it was featureline. Can this system work on feature line or does cust need to have converted back to direct line. any advice welcome thanks phil
arfur mo Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 having a feature line means they dial '9' to get a line from a standard handset, so from a PABX they need to dial '9 + 9' to get a line. you can prog extensions to dial 9, or program the handsets feature button to access a line by putting '9,9' under a button. if they have PDQ card machines these ither need to be on dedicated direct dial out extensions, or get into their program to add a '9,9,' (the comma is a pause to allow for line pickup) in front of the number they call.
