Driller Posted August 8, 2010 Author Posted August 8, 2010 you can have both internal siren and an extension speaker, word to the wise, fit an internal speaker the exit entry tomes can be overly annoying. Arfur Arfur, I'll make sure I adjust volume in the menu for the entry tones. No I think he worked for Peter "E" (rest of gag via PM!) PM Please!
arfur mo Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Arfur, I'll make sure I adjust volume in the menu for the entry tones. no probs, you do need the right coil resistance/impedance to match the panel,. many spec16 ohms and may ok with less then burn out on a long exit/entryt rout time out, you could use 2 x 8ohm's in series, or if an 8 ohms spec using a 16 ohm will reduce the volume on panel 2 x 16 ohm speakers paralleled. just site well away from the main bedroom if they have older teenagers who will likely come home in early hours. Arfur. If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

No need to "out" me in the thread Norman I put the above clearly in my profile as an open explanation of my situation and I never profess to be anything else. The answer is the amateur electronics bit. As I have said before I am very grateful for the help and guidance I receive here and answering any questions people may have about dentistry is a (desperate?) attempt to give something back. However, if you would would prefer a cheque... ...only joking You have mail
