magpye
Ian, don't recall your old a/c but hello all the same Ah, he was in the 'fire' side (if you see what I mean) Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care. banjax
Ah, he was in the 'fire' side (if you see what I mean) I just done a search for my old posts. there are a few that have survived deletion lol. Just do a search for keiko. BTW that name came from my son's middle name. That came from the film 'Free Willy' YEP. he was named after a sperm whale lol. A bit more about myself. I have been in the security trade for 16 odd years. Started training in 1992 and had a great NACOSS engineer teaching me the traid. Previously I was an electronics engineer (Qualified to C+G 2240, 2241 and 2242), (thats a Radio, TV and Video engineer!) Due to the up and coming change from analogue to digital electronics us analogue engineers were either facing re-training or the scrap heap. I could not handle another 5 years at Peterborough Regional college so looked for other jobs while I still had time at the age of 26! When I came across an alarm engineer vacancy I decided to give it a go. It was quite fun. Much better than working for British Telecom fiber optic LASER research... You would not know how boring it can be, working in an electronics lab with op-amps and LASER diodes all day of the week! They were not even powerfull enough to zap the neighbours cat! Well thats me! An ex electronics engineer now Alarm, CCTV and Access control engineer for the last 16-18 years! If you have any electronics related questions I will help if I can. One more thing... Where has the jokes section gone? BRING IT BACK! It was the best of any other forum... Even security system engineers have a sense of humour you know!! Ian.
