can any body tell me why i can view a dvr 365 over the net on a xp machine but windows vista or 7 wont load up

I had the same issue with windows 7. I think it's artical 197 that goes through all the steps

tried all that it says download webrec.cab file then just sits there

and some 365's that load up as web service v2.0

but multi-channel disk recoerder web servisi wont load

Try turning UAC (User Access Control) Off, in the windows O/S

id be careful turning it off without explaining to the client what its for. Some muppet terned it off on a site with one of our pc's on it. Proper software shouldnt need you to jump through hoops to get it to work. Messing with built in security is taking windows 7 backwards security wise
