cqworldwide Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 any body no how to get a 365 or alien to work on a mac ive tried loads nick
breff Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 You can get 'internet explorer' for mac, you could try that. Apparently you can get an emulator to run windows software on mac as well. I dont think either will work though The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
arfur mo Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I hsve a client who is a mac fanzine, he got a gtec dvr to work via an emulator so likely it csn be done, you will likely need to faff with the security settings. Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
james.wilson Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 id suggest you need a dvr that has a web client that doesnt need activex. Id assume that ie on a mac wouldnt suport activex but i may be wrong securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
arfur mo Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 If the dvr comes with Central Management Software, that may another way around activex. I'd have scout around mac specific forums, must be others who have done this. Arfur If for persoal remote viewing, you can access on smart phones one camera at a time. Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
SystemQ Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 The only way is use Windows emulator software on the mac and then installer the windows client that we provide. This does work and has been used by several customers. Paul. System Q Ltd.
