Hello All, Can anybody help me please. I have a Concept advanced microprocessor control, House Alarm, and for some reason, when i enter the code, my alarm, will not go on. The day and power lights are showing red, and everything looks fine. i attempted to reset it, but again, nothing. Last time this happened i called out the man, and he was here for about 10minutes and it was back to normal, nothing was the matter with it, but ofcourse still had to pay. Can anyone assist? thanks in advance K x

What did the report say after the man fixed it when nothing was wrong with it?

Both red Led`s showing are correct.

What exactly happens when you enter the code, any noises, lights?

Hi Kelly,

how long is it between the last fault and the repeat fault showing up?

even small panels these days have very complex electronics, and some makes of alarm are more prone than others to 'lock up's', but i can't say your panel is, has developed a fault.

i'd guess the engineer did as i would, a power cycle on/off which will bring many locked up panels back to life, hopefully he looked for causes and tested you battery.

your really faced with a decision imo, either calling them back (or another company) to have another look, and it may well be cheaper to cut your losses if they can't fault it, and have the panel replaced or upgraded having taken advice from an alarm co engineer while on site.

The reciept just said a service, but i know he didnt do anything else really, but reset it, i put my new password in, and he obviously got paid, this was in 2008, if i remember correctly.

wish i could do this myself, instead of having to call anyone out.

thank you all for your advice.
