I'm haveing some problems with ports on a BT Business hub, they are all showing as open on the router firewall page, but when i check the ports on ping.eu they are all showing closed!!!!!!!

Any help would be good. I've done other BT routers (older versions) and netgear etc with no problems, just can't see the issue with this one????

cheers

Solved. I forgot i need to set it as DHCP at the DVR to work with the BT units.

Better to work it out yourself, atleast you don't forget.

2wire 121 hub, judging by screen print? Ours blew up couple of months back so legged it up to pc world fitted netgear & up running hour or so later.

bt sent new hub couple of days later (twas over w/end) & still on side of desk waiting to be swapped out.

Yep, all working now.

My next task is to try and get a DYNDNS up and running, i'm lazy and ALWAYS get the customer to get a static IP.

do wonder though how long before security & it converge fully. reckon they'll win in the end.

Better make sure we have enough to sell before it happens then.
