alterEGO Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I'm haveing some problems with ports on a BT Business hub, they are all showing as open on the router firewall page, but when i check the ports on ping.eu they are all showing closed!!!!!!! Any help would be good. I've done other BT routers (older versions) and netgear etc with no problems, just can't see the issue with this one????
alterEGO Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 Solved. I forgot i need to set it as DHCP at the DVR to work with the BT units. Better to work it out yourself, atleast you don't forget.
hpotter Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 2wire 121 hub, judging by screen print? Ours blew up couple of months back so legged it up to pc world fitted netgear & up running hour or so later. bt sent new hub couple of days later (twas over w/end) & still on side of desk waiting to be swapped out.

Yep, all working now. My next task is to try and get a DYNDNS up and running, i'm lazy and ALWAYS get the customer to get a static IP.
