Specialist Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 seen loads on plug tops, mainly due to sub not getting spurr in time but insisting on working system, document and advise. Only advice I gave him was get a new system, he's had the old system 11 years. This is fairly typical around here. If they are really good they use mini trunking Classy & with a bit of thought it would have been so easy to do it right. Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us.

Rulland Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Sorry guy's not going to be any pic's of this 1, went to see the owner this morning & found he's had someone in to do it. Nice of him to let you know!, prob gonna be to the same standard as it was before then eh cost wise

This 1 is of the unmarked white bellbox brigade & at the price he charged I doubt anything else was quality either. Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us.
alterEGO Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 like i said before, dodge the **** customers, not worth the time of day. I would bet money on the national telling him it should be put right, but he wanted a cheaper option. Otherwise he would have just changed to another approved company and got it all sorted and kept it monitored.

Not a Monitored system, just 2 external sounders fitted apparently taken off monitoring a few years ago, National were servicing as is up until a short while ago. norman Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 ...and prob documented on eng's reports. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Specialist Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 ...and prob documented on eng's reports. Service reports just showed readings taken on system at time of service, call out log on each sheet I saw just said that the system had been checked but no fault found. Guest Oxo Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 What readings were taken? Would they have been enough to trace a fault?
