arfur mo
The SIA was tasked with reducing crime and improving standards in the industry. It licences bouncers, in-store guards, CCTV operators and other qualified security workers who pass background checks. There are almost 350,000 security workers with valid licences across the UK. Regulation began in 2003 in England and Wales and was extended to Scotland in 2007 and to Northern Ireland in 2009 states self financing, dump theSIA as what they really want is the easy dosh income from the licences then? Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

james.wilson
Looks like the sia is being axed. Or at least it is in its current form. Id assume that it wont go completely, the govt have proposed it will stop being an NDPB (non-departmental public body). No news on the SIA website as yet. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
