AMI-cable-solutions Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 You have to check the voltage is changing when testing the output. What relays are they? As you say are they correctly wired? Just small pcb mounted mini relay. Will check the output voltage how should they be wired? Thought I was right but starting to consider Mcdonalds as a career;q
Guest Oxo Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 First thing is to check the voltages are switching. Test the relays on a battery, supply voltage to the coil. Which would be the single pair at the back, the DPDT at the front in a bank of 6. Should be fairly straight forward.

Guest Oxo Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Please do its always good to hear the outcome.
james.wilson Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Best thing is to post a pic of them wired in then we can pass comment on them being wired right. But from what you have said they are. Not latching relays or something daft are they? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
hpotter Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Normally open stays open all the time too. there are 2 realays and both are the same either they are both shot or more likely wired wrong. dont really know where to go with it maybe I am missing something? Could be voltage ok, but output unable to supply/sink enough current for relay to fully operate.
james.wilson Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Gal outputs can sink 400 mA so would need to be some relay. Maybe a picture would help securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
