thou shall play

lol (as below)

I will always sacrifice frame rate to get better quality, better to have 5 good images of someone than 25 poor images

agreed but, what if the playback gives 5 poor & 25 good though less days.

(been playing through necessity on site, would like to play in workshop more).

So where does this fettish for 25 fps at all costs come from then?

from getting better playback at a higher rate (not at all costs, just is on certain machines been using)

just seems to me on previous play days, i've had a better image at 6FPS D1 than 25fps CIF

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

me too.

but then also seen better at faster frame rate on certain machine(s) that seem more geared up to networking.

Most people cant notice the difference above 16fps anyway, try it.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

agreed,

but then depends on dvr, time of year (snow eg), view, motion etc.

if dvr takes one piccy in a second & refreshes only certain bits that change for the next 5 piccys within that second, or next 24 piccys within that second..

can look like digital zoom.

can only go on what i've seen..

yep, that too.

how many site visits to juggle all parameters, in all circumstances. used to be easier when only fitted one or two types of machines.

always said - know your kit. doddle for intruder, pita for cctv.
