Across the road from this one was a little old lady whom we had taken out a old RS50 and put in a M550. She could not get used to it, the back lit blue display ( Think we have covered blue back lighting before)was virtually impossible for her to see. Alerts were a problem for her and also night setting. Would rather have and I did mention to the "bosses" although we did not support Texecom or Castle one of their panels would have been better with the larger LCD displays. Of course was ignored, then a month later we took over one of each!!!! Kin idiots. Anyway almost fell off the ladder as I was reaching high when removing that b`ket with all the dry cells, had forgotten it was going to be full of them! Never took a pic of the bespoke panel, with relays and Bakelite knobs to isolate zones, was classy old "engineering". Think its still on the wall actually.
