james.wilson Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Access control systems specialist TDSi has entered into a distribution agreement with Advanced Access, one of the UK’s leading independent distributors. Established in 1997, Advanced Access provides a high quality wholesale service to a wide range of trade customers across the UK. The company’s ‘one stop shop’ approach has been developed to provide a total solution for all access control projects, including market-leading systems as well as a comprehensive range of accessories to cover every aspect of an installation. Commenting on the new agreement, Director Angela King said: “As an established distributor, we have been aware of TDSi for many years, but until now we haven’t had a direct relationship with the company. However, having spent time with the TDSi team and got to know their products in much greater depth, I’m delighted to have discovered that there’s such a great fit between our two businesses. Not only does the TDSi range offer a fantastic alternative to our existing products, but it is backed by the most committed and professional support team that I have come across in the industry”. TDSi’s UK & Eire Business Manager, Stuart Griffiths said: “When we’re in discussions with potential partners, we are looking for businesses that share our fundamental values - not only in terms of the quality of products and technical support, but most importantly in their approach to customer service. It soon became apparent that TDSi and Advanced Access approached the market with a very similar set of values. I know the whole team is now looking forward to working closely with Advanced Access and to forging a close relationship over the coming months and years”. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

james.wilson Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 i thought it was good news for advanced access. I also remeber you saying that tdsi have been going in the wrong direction for some time etc, when you were at act. I wondered if this was them trying to change that direction? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

Cubit Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 oh right. MG toot? link? I always thought that tdsi was nice stuff, never worked with it though so i have no direct experience of the stuff The old S series was good stuff. Lost the plot when they introduced the ''X' Series. Big problems then relaunched under eXcel/eXpert brand. If you are going to use it, go for the eXcel range. The MG range is cheap.....but we know what happens when you buy cheap.
james.wilson Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 I see. Id agree as a rule buy cheap buy twice etc. Something ive been caught out with recently trying a dome other than our usual pelco spectra 4 securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
