Adi Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 If i wasn't approved i would 100% use this http://www.servicelife.co.uk/ why not if you are approved. Also use outlook calendar for service reminders I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
Guest Oxo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Hmmmm got office 2007 Reckon 2010 is worth it for that price?
alterEGO Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 why not if you are approved. Also use outlook calendar for service reminders bit of a pain for URNs and reports, could do it though. But looks perfect for unapproved though, only £100.
Rulland Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 You have to register as students on that site-is it going to be a waste of £38 if for some reason it 'checks' and kicks in with some error or whatever!,also doesn't the student edition come up with 'non commercial use only' as a header? (yep I know they dont know).
Adi Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 No mate, you dont have to reg as a student. You can be a student or parent or guardian - that just about covers everyone. My lad was 4 when i purchased 2007, i just entered his name and school. Its all above board, check there FAQ page. It also says microsoft check only a small percentage. if you have a kid or grandkid, go for it I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
Guest Oxo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Both sons at secondary school. So I would be eligible. Is there a great enough difference between 2007 pro and 2010 pro, thats my question?
Adi Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 also do dont want student edition, go for the pro version I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
james.wilson Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 There may be some restriction on using it professionaly etc. Might be worth checking and be careful etc securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
