MrHappy Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Your talkin poo there, my old rapiers (s/steel) silk screened still have great looks after 10 yrs. I think he means the risco plastic "chrome" finish, the factory won't silk 'em Mr Veritas God
james.wilson Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 i was sort of, but its the pyronix one ive looked at so far. The samples are silk screened silvery plastic. Not sure it will still be on there in 2 yrs time. The white plastic doesnt have that problem but it looks ***** with our logo etc. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

james.wilson Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Aahhh righty ho. would imagine fake chrome and silk to be a bit flakey Yeah me too, but when they said they could i didnt worry. But id of thought stainless would have the same issues? Maybe it needs a coat of clear lacquer or something first? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

QFA, i think thats what risco tell you to do.
Guest Oxo Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 After! Had 2 versions of rapiers out there, stainless with green logo. Then white with Green, never faded. Used stickers on loads, they just attract dirt and dust, obviously take overs. Some old Aunty satinless peel, looks awful. Rather see a dirty box. Remember a old service manager saying he would give us a quid everytime we wiped a bell box on a service. Took £50.00 off him one month, pics to prove of course. Then again if I can reach the puppy from a window, it gets a wipe. Why not.....makes it look like new again. Otfen it was commented on by the customer ringing in asking why the bell was changed. Good for the Co as it shows you care and it makes the clients system "look new".
james.wilson Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 shame you only did it for the quid then lol Agree on the cleaning point though. But again its only us that cares about bells. We really shouldnt. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
