breff Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 You can only use keypad addresses 0-2,B,D, F on line 1. On lines 2,3 and 4 you use 0-6 and F. Addresses B,D and F are reserved for Ethernet,RS232 and engineer keypad but can be used for keypads if these modules arent fitted. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

C.S TEK. Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I have come acroos this problem on line 1 once. I spent ages install/unistalling mods. In the end I think i defaulted the panel and it saw them ok aftewards. Must have been a blip in the chip when delivered!! chris isc systems ltd Trade Member As Mr Kingswood said "Dont forget the 6 P's when installing.....Proper Preperation Prevents P*** Poor Performance!!!" time served Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Tip, always cold start a galaxy b4 programming as this will get rid of any rubbish that may be on the system, even on a new panel otherwise you may on very rare occasions get PHANTOM faults!! ;p
