Rob1980 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Hi - after some help if possible... I would like to part set my alarm system. In the past have only ever used the Full Set. I have worked out from this site that I have an accord xpc control panel and found the user manual online, although it doesn’t seem to explain how I set up the zones. The alarm system was already in place when we moved in and there we no instructions left. Could anybody walk me through this pls? I have 3 sensors around the house and would like to omit one of them when part set. Thanks, Rob
Guest Oxo Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 To Omit Zones: 1. Enter the user code. 2. Press 6 (Omit). 3. Enter the Zone Number(s) to be isolated. 4. Press Ö to finish or wait 5 seconds. 5. Set the system e.g. To omit zones 6, 7 and 8, press (user Code) 678. Zone LED 6, 7 and 8 will flash. Press Ö or wait 5 seconds. To correct a wrong omitted zone: 1. Enter the User Code 2. Press 6 (Isolate) 3. Press Ö or wait for a confirmation beep.
Rob1980 Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 Hi - thanks for your quick reply. How do I know which zone is which? Would they have to be set up in the first place? Can I do this? Thanks
PeterJames Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Hi - thanks for your quick reply. How do I know which zone is which? Would they have to be set up in the first place? Can I do this? Thanks Page 5 of the user manual tells you how to test the system inc walk test you will need someone to stand by the keypad and write down what lights are on whilst you walk round, alternately set it and walk in a rooom set it again walk in another its long winded and noisy but without help i cant think of another way
james.wilson Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 agreed, just start setting it and then trigger a device and see which zone is indicated. From that you can then omit the right one. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
