Guest GB46 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I have an Accenta G4 with Remote Keypad (http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TSRKPLCD.html). All works OK, except when the RKP lid is opened, the sounder goes off in the control panel. There are no tamper alerts, and the walk tests works fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.
james.wilson Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 ok i odnt understand the issue? is it that the sounder activates, or that it doesnt display? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
GB46 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Thanks for the quick response. The alarm can be set and unset OK with the RKP. However, once unset, when you next open the RKP lid, the sounder on the control panel goes off. I then have to unset the alarm, and then it asks for X to confirm reset. Hope that clarifies it a littke more.
james.wilson Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 when you say rkp lid... do you mean the flap covering the keys, or removing the keypad from the backplate? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
FASTCAR Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Most probably the RKP tamper , they are a bit tricky to get right .Look in the log , it should be displayed there.
9651 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 ^ my money would be on that. Dont think it will say tamper as such, off memory it will be a 1 or something on the LCD?
GB46 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Thanks guys. It is exactly as suggested. I looked at the movement of the lid from the side, and when the lid was opened to reveal the keys, there was sufficient movement to trigger the tamper. Many thanks for your help.
