Guest Grizzwold Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 Help I have an ADE Optima Compact (6 Zone) alarm which I installed and maintain myself, whilst recently doing some building and decorating work I changed some settings and configurations to prevent accidental setting off of the alarm. I have now finishe the building work and have finished rewireing the panel back to it's correct state, however in the upheaval I have lost both my engineering and user manuals. Can anyone help with a copy of these manuals so that I can reset my alarm to normal operation? Thanks.

Guest memoben Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 If you`d have registered i could have emailed you, but as you havnt can you leave your email address ? Hello, I have just bought a house with an ADE Optima Compact 6 Zone alarm. The lady I bought the house from has lost the manuals and codes. The fuse feeding the mains supply into the box has been pulled out. I would like to power it up and, if it works, reset the box then re-program it. I pulled down instructions on how to do this for the Optima Compact G3 which is the 8 Zone model - do you know if these instructions also apply to the older 6 Zone model? Very grateful of any advice or information. Thanks Memoben
Guest Alarm Guard Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 The lady selling the house`was rsponsible for making sure it was in good working order before selling the house and your agents should have ensured this. If the system has been powered down, you can be pretty sure it was done for a reason. Your chances of just applying power and finding it works correctly are almost zero. There will be issues that require attention. Paul
