Hi Folks,

I guess I've done this before, but not visited here for quite a while and my position has changed since first joining.

Having received a Christmas message from James, and with his help managing to get hooked up again (thanks again James) I just thought I'd better fill in the gaps.

As I have stated in the 'about yourself' part of me profile, in a nutshell, what 'appened was,

in 1983 I started an alarm business (initially working evenings and weekends on alarms) whilst working full time in a different industry.

Eventually the part time job became very much full time, so I left the original full time occupation.

Carried on building up the alarm business with the help of (eventually) 3 full time staff (2 engineers and one in the office) until Jan 2008, when another alarm company purchased our customer data base details.

So, after 25 years of working off ladders, crawling through roofspaces, etc. and the odd non paying customer, we retired :P:P and that's nearly 3 years ago.

All that I have left to dispose of are some related vehicle reg numbers (all on current certs), they are

A1RRM, A11ARM, A11RRM, and A11RMD, plus P 6ELL. any offers?

Intro completed,

Regards,

Rob.

Happy Christmas.

Chav plates?

I wer proud of them on the vans, took years and years to find em, and knackered me eyes looking at reg plate adverts in Exchange and Mart etc. for too many years.

More than one thing that makes you blind, I've discovered.

'What have I bin doing', well last three summers (spring to autumn, plus last Xmas) in France.

Very large garden out there (one & half acres) so mowing, hedging, gardening, bits of diy, etc. never bored.

Pottering around the rural lanes (France) on me toy motorbike (a mere 125cc), life's good to me.

2-3 day trips to French bike race meetings, one week this year in Isle of Man for the MGP meeting.

Hope that is enough info, happy Christmas.

Rob.
