norman Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 PPPS is the ION glued to the wall? Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
MrHappy Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 On my test bench you could not see the cables to the peripheral`s. they call it wire free Mr Veritas God
Monty Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Looks like a good panel had a wee shot on reps demo so we took 5 in on the launch offer but have not gotten round to fitting one on site yet as the jobs we had on the go are roughed for M800 using keypad zones and No zones on the Ion keypads but we are looking forward to the room for STU etc and 17AH batt with room to spare (just to find cub big enough ) www.AllanMoncrieffAlarms.com

Guest Oxo Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 why oh why do scanny insist on 3 fixings only. Lazy fooker, drill what you need. Use penny washers to make up the stand off. Quiclk tip: Drill as needed offer panel up as template. Drill plug ect. Use super glue to hold washers in palce on back of panel when mounting.
hpotter Posted January 8, 2011 Author Posted January 8, 2011 Cost abt a tenner in washers, panel stands an inch off the wall, even got special shoud to prevent back tamper interference, & 34Ah weighs in some.

Once you factor in the labour and bits required to do that, it probably makes the panel too dear. We often dont look at things like that imo and we should factor them in. For instance cable is going up and up, the more I can do to save on it the better. knockouts, mounting of kit etc, commisioning etc. All takes time. Should be factored into any cost of equipment. too many imo look at the product price only. Once you factor in call backs and faults a cheap bit of kit usually works out to be very very expensive indeed. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
