fel Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Hi! I was wondering if anyone could identify this "artifact". It seems to be unlabeled except the ADT logo and a small sticker inside with some codes that produce no Google help at all. Doesn't do much when powered up but I've yet to link it with a controller. Any names, manuals, anything at all would be great. - Fel.

fel Posted January 8, 2011 Author Posted January 8, 2011 Excellent, that certainly looks very similar. Thanks a lot! I assume the keypads are essentially serial terminals and have no real control or logic internals? How compatible are they with similar systems?
james.wilson Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 they are not compatible. Yo are right the intelligence is usually in the panel. But there will be a list of campatible panels for each keypad type, that could be a 9600 actually or a mosiac. Im not that up on scanny panels so you had better wait for confirmation from someone more familiar. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
MrHappy Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I think 930 rkp, works with 816, 840, 8136. Personally I'd lob it in skip & buy new controls Mr Veritas God

It's no longer used, I ask to satisfy my craving for electronic tinkering more than anything. It's been replaced by something a little more up to date now! (The firmware info on this keypad in programming mode is dated September 1993!) Thanks, -fel

AlarmScot Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Funny Fact about that aswell. If that panel went wrong ADT would just replace it as the costs were too expensive I got told
