Hi firstly many thanks for you help on my last problem - alarm is fitted With the recommended sensor in the conservatory and is working fine so far :-)

Now for my new question - currently upgrading and alarm in a relatives house - the system which was was wired with a fully supervised loop with the revenant resistors. I'm expanding the alarm - due to an extension and replacing the panel - when I've come to wire in the existing smoke alarm there is no tamper or resistors on it? Is this correct???? And will this cause me problems if I just continue with this wiring on the new panel?

Any help will be aprechiated.

cheers

Steve

LOL, I think we have all answered as post "post dated" at some time.

Ps, he could have used resistors in the smoke or used a DP set up with a tamper, but we all know that now don`t we :D

Hi and welcome.

What do you mean? He said he had FSL and a detector with no resistors. Yet a functioning panel - Easy enough to work out.

How have you fitted smokes to Galaxy or any other make of FSL panel?

You could of course rewrite the zone as DP (Think Cooper/Galaxy).
