miaren Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 FM Electronics do a wireless system that lasts about 30 days on one battery. Its got GSM and selective text messaging. I've toyed with it and it's very very good - just expensive. I had an identical situation and this was the solution. May be worth a look at: Web Page
