Said for years his Steward brought his tea from galley, rear end of the boat to the bridge. No matter the weather it was always a full mug. When he retired after 39 years, he asked the steward how he never spilt any, even in the roughest of sea ? He replied "sir, that is easy - I carry a mouthful of tea and put it on your cup just before entering the bridge". I often wonder if he slept so well having found that out lol!
