MrHappy Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 i swear by m series menvier.like the ts stuff too but obselete now.and of course the slightly cheaper sister panels scantronic. ain't the current meniver a scantronic product ? when 790/900 became the plus, the pcb ended up with a scanny like design ? the team behind the ts networker ending up designing kit for another manfacturer Mr Veritas God
sixwheeledbeast Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 the team behind the ts networker ending up designing kit for another manfacturer i believe they went to texe and took us with them!

sjsturner Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 ain't the current meniver a scantronic product ? when 790/900 became the plus, the pcb ended up with a scanny like design ? the team behind the ts networker ending up designing kit for another manfacturer yea your probably right.they work very similar dont know a lot about the company and whos bed there in but the kit is bulletproof. if only the keys didnt lock up on text entry!
MrHappy Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 dont know a lot about the company and whos bed there in but the kit is bulletproof. with the close of clevedon the menvier lineage cam eto a close if only the keys didnt lock up on text entry! scantronic ! Mr Veritas God
sjsturner Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 with the close of clevedon the menvier lineage cam eto a close scantronic ! i think its a case of what your used to.to be fair everyone will stand by the stuff they know best sometimes even if its not that good. look at rafiki fire alarms.sparkys choice installed with no chance of compliying to bs5839. but if you ask them about it they say its great!! sparks throw these in for a past time in the south west!
MrHappy Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 was fed up with scanny before the mosaic, used lots of thing but still rate TS networker look at rafiki fire alarms a fire alarm is either turn the key to acitvate controls or open the front door to get at buttons, plastic box & 532 to make buttons work is very bad idea before we get to think of odd ball detection Mr Veritas God
james.wilson Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I'd have a look at Rafiki again. I really rate it. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
CerbNI Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I'd have a look at Rafiki again. I really rate it. You're turning into someone else here with your insistance on Rafiki and how good it is against the majority opinion - damage done imo!!!
james.wilson Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 dont get me wrong, i know (or have heard about) the previous issues with rafiki and if i had been affected by them id be very wary. Fortunatly we didnt use any of the early addressable stuff and have never had an issue with a twinflex. We only started using it say 4 - 5 yrs ago, by that time twinflex was sorted. Now that Fike have bought them and withdrawn anything that wasnt 100% the previous rep will fade imo. We have fitted 3 quadnets now (all with more than 180 devices on them) and not had even a faulty head. Only issue we had were earth faults due to connection issues that the panel even helped us find due to the way it has isolaters built into every head. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
