sixwheeledbeast Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 dont suppose it has a dd243 option? and its looking for a prox to disarm? If it's a Veritas 8 or R8 it's only Grade 1. So no DD243, No Confirmed, 10 event log, we are talking very basic. If it's a Plus or Excel it's Grade 2 so more featues but DD243 is off as default. The Engineers code is the User code and the User code is the Engineers, that's the only way the engineers will switch off the system.
james.wilson Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 The accenta is a 4737 panel and has 8 commnicator outputs time date log and proximity. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
9651 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Prox on an Accenta? *Edit, it appears you can on a G4, well I never!
breff Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 You have mixed up the codes, put in what you think is the engineer code, press prog, now enter 51, bet it doesnt do anything. It is easily done because the default user code is dcba and the default engineer code is abcd, ie the user code is the reverse of what we usually expect The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
james.wilson Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 thats one of the reasons we sell a lot more accenta's than veritas's. looking at the manual i cant see an option to prevent pin on entry. Im wondering if its on single key set (ie easy set) and the code is wrong. Thats why you can arm and not disarm. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
