IPAlarms Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I intend to test it across the office, I have the kit here to mock a standalone system up, once I proved it at mine I can see no reason why we can't fire some data at you ? That would be great. Just give me a shout when you're ready. Free Alarm Monitoring over the Internet from IP Alarms

IPAlarms Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Hey Adrian, Thanks for the manual, it all makes a little more sense now and I have had a good look around. FYI... I clicked on the Setup menu, then Exit Password (I think) and then Montex locked up. I am running Windows Vista. I had to do a 3 finger shuffle and end the task. I am running v2.9 - let me know if that is not the latest version. Free Alarm Monitoring over the Internet from IP Alarms
AdrianMealing Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Yep that's the right version, i had to do that on 7 yesterday, have you got Texbase installed as well? I need to talk to the software guys to see why its doing it, probably a permissions thing as i know it exits cleanly in XP amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom
looops Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 Think I need Texbase as I'm not getting anywhere even with Adrian's guide. I've been running Montex on Win 7 for ages no problem, except making it talk with my Premier 48. Suggest you try running it in XP Compatible mode.
